Existing tests include:

PICKLIST – The experimenter can configure this general purpose function into a rating scale or simply a list of any sort. Each response is time-stamped so a favorite use is to define specific events that one wants subjects to make note of, like taking medication.

BEDTIME DIARY – a battery of questions about the events of the day which would affect sleep (naps, caffeine intake, etc.)

WAKEUP DIARY – a battery of questions about the night’s sleep (awakenings, level of refreshment, etc.)

PalmPVT – A 5-minute test of simple reaction time

Pain Diary – rating scales and questions focusing on pain perception

Stanford and/or Epworth Sleepiness Scales – standard instruments in sleep assessment.
